Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old. You must give accurate information when you create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.

Reviews, articles, a community and a newsletter about dating websites and apps. Dater.com is currently an MVP under active development: features can change, break or disappear, and we may pause parts of the service without notice.

We are not a dating service. We do not match you with other people and we are not a party to anything that happens on a third-party dating platform.

You keep ownership of your profile, photos and anything you send us. By submitting a story or review you allow us to publish and edit it on Dater.com, with attribution to your display name unless you ask otherwise.

Do not upload photos you do not have the rights to, do not impersonate anyone, do not post other people's private information, and do not upload sexual content involving minors or anything illegal. We remove content and accounts that break these rules.

Our reviews are our honest opinions based on our own testing at a point in time. Platforms change. Nothing here is professional advice and we cannot guarantee any outcome — romantic, financial or otherwise.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@dater.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put other members at risk.

Dater.com is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or of any third-party platform we write about.

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
